PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Take your diving skills to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. You don’t need to be an experienced diver to begin – this course is designed to enhance your skills and boost your confidence right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Through a series of Adventure Dives, you'll explore new diving specialties under the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor. As you log more dives and expand your underwater abilities, you'll also discover new and exciting ways to enjoy scuba diving.

Who Can Join This Course?

Anyone aged 12 or older with a PADI Open Water Diver certification is eligible to enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course.

What Will You Learn?

Together with your instructor, you'll plan your learning journey by selecting from a wide range of Adventure Dives. The course includes five dives in total:

• 2 mandatory dives:

  • Deep Dive – Learn to manage the challenges of deeper dives and understand the physiological effects of increased depth.

  • Underwater Navigation Dive – Sharpen your compass use, kick-cycle counting, time tracking, and visual landmark navigation.

• 3 elective dives based on your interests, such as:

  • Underwater photography

  • Perfect buoyancy control

  • Marine life identification

  • And many more!
